Behavioral Health Counseling for children (ages 6-12), teens (ages 13-17), and young adults (18-24).
Individual Therapy
A personalized blend of supportive evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s strengths, needs, and goals. My approach is grounded in Person-Centered therapy with thoughtful integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy with creative interventions to provide a supportive, engaging, and personalized therapeutic experience. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, clients are encouraged to explore their emotions, build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and develop confidence in their ability to navigate challenges. This individualized process supports healing, personal growth, and each client’s journey toward becoming their best self.
Parent Consultations
For children and teens participating in individual therapy, parent consultation sessions are scheduled approximately every 4–6 sessions to support continued progress toward therapeutic goals. These consultations provide caregivers with guidance, practical tools, and effective strategies to reinforce therapeutic growth outside of sessions.
Parent involvement helps strengthen family relationships, improve communication, navigate challenging topics, and create a healthier, more supportive home environment. These sessions are designed to help caregivers better understand their child’s emotional and behavioral needs while increasing confidence and effectiveness in supporting their child’s overall well-being.
Family Sessions
For clients receiving individual therapy, family sessions provide a supportive space to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships. Using evidence-based approaches tailored to each family, these sessions help navigate challenges, foster understanding, and promote a positive home environment. Sessions can complement individual therapy and parent consultations to support overall progress.
