Areas of Expertise

  • Grief & Loss
Children and adolescents often struggle to process grief and loss, whether from the death of a loved one, loss of a pet, or other significant life changes. I provide a safe and supportive space for clients of all ages to express their emotions, work through their grief, and develop healthy coping strategies to manage pain and move toward healing.

  • Parental Divorce & Separation
The separation of parents can be one of the most challenging transitions for children and adolescents. I help clients navigate the emotional complexities of divorce or separation, addressing feelings of confusion, sadness, anger, and fear. Throughout this process, I work to foster a sense of stability, emotional resilience, and healthy coping skills to support their growth and well-being.

  • Anxiety
Anxiety is a common challenge often showing up as excessive worry, fear, or stress. I support clients in understanding their anxiety, developing effective coping strategies, and building emotional regulation skills that empower them to manage fears and face life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

  • Depression
Depression can be overwhelming for young people, impacting their mood, energy, and overall well-being. Through therapeutic techniques, I help children and adolescents identify negative thought patterns, build resilience, and develop healthier perspectives and coping strategies to improve their mental health.

  • Adjustment-Related Life Changes
Life transitions, such as moving, changing schools, or adjusting to new family dynamics can be overwhelming for children and adolescents. I guide clients through these transitions by helping them process change, build resilience, and develop the emotional flexibility needed to adapt and thrive in new circumstances.
